Facility Evaluation Report
At 10:40 A.M. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valeria Conway conducted an unannounced Required - 1 Year visit to the facility. Upon arrival the LPA met with Licensee, Jocelyn Cacal, the reason for the visit was explained.
The following was noted: Facility is a single-story residence that consists of two (2) resident bedrooms and one (1) bathroom.
At 11:00 A.M. the LPA conducted a tour of the physical plant with Administrator to ensure there are no health and safety hazards and facility is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations. Somis #2, located in the back house on the same lot as Somis #1. LPA is only conducting an annual at Somis #2. T his facility doesn’t have a staff room, facility will provide 24/7 care.
Fire extinguishers are fully charged and last serviced on 08/12/2024. Hardwired combination smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors were tested at 11:30 A.M., and all were functional at the time of the visit. No fire clearance concerns were observed.
Bedrooms: There are two (2) total shared bedrooms in the facility. The bedrooms had appropriate and adequate bedding and linens such as sheets, pillowcases, mattress pads, and blankets. All resident rooms were observed to be furnished appropriately.
