Who publishes this

In one line

Senior Care Records is published by MITRYXA, an independent software company. It is not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any care provider, referral agency or industry association.

How this pays for itself

Operators pay a flat monthly fee to claim their page — to publish vacancies, languages spoken, pricing and what they accept, and to receive families matched on fit. The fee is set by licensed bed count and is the same for every facility in a tier.

We take no commission on a move-in. That is the model that dominates senior living referral — $3,500 to $12,000 each time someone moves in — and it is the reason the sites built on it cannot publish inspection findings about the facilities paying them.

Billing appears on a card statement as MITRYXA.

The conflicts we refused

Paid placementNot offered, at any price. Lists are alphabetical and we publish no rating of our own.
Removing a citationNever, for any subscriber. Operators get a right of reply, published beneath the finding.
Commission per move-inRefused. It is what makes the incumbent model unable to tell the truth.
Selling the data to plaintiff firmsNot currently done. The dataset is published free to everyone, including lawyers, journalists and researchers — which is different from building a product for one side of a lawsuit while taking money from the other.

Accountability

A person reads every correction and replies. Write to corrections@seniorcarerecords.org with the facility name and its licence number. If we got something wrong we fix it and say when; if the state record is what is wrong, we will say that too and publish your response in the meantime.

17,808 providers are currently published, generated 2026-08-20. Coverage is all 54 California counties, and expands only once what is already published holds its accuracy.
