Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kristin Kontilis conducted an unannounced annual required visit to the above-named facility. LPA met with Administrator/Program Manager Lailani Macasias and explained the purpose of the visit.
The program is an Adult Day Program and operates as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. The facility is located in a semi-industrial area close to local eateries, retail businesses, and a residential area. The facility maintains a contract with Tri-Counties Regional Center. The facility provides services and activities to ambulatory participants with Developmental and/or Intellectual differences.
The facility program provides on-site activities that include games, puzzles, building blocks, reading material, multi-media, as well as morning walks to local eateries, retail businesses, and beaches and parks closeby. Reading material and games are in English and Spanish.
Off-campus activities include excursions to libraries, museums, parks, beaches, retail businesses, recreational entertainment (bowling), and a yearly visit to the Ventura County fair.
Participants bring their own lunches. The facility provides snacks. Emergency food supplies and snacks are available if needed.
The facility is a single-story structure with a large activity room, a quiet room, a conference room, a food service area, two staff offices, and a supply room with emergency supplies. LPA observed five (5) fire extinguishers last serviced on 6/5/2026 and carbon monoxide and smoke detectors are in good working
