Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Esther Cortez conducted an unannounced Annual Continuation Visit to the facility to continue the annual inspection visit initiated on 02/07/2024. The LPA met with Co-Administrator Joemar Ong and informed them of the reason for the visit.
Today the LPA conducted a medication audit, three (3) staff interviews and tested the water temperature in the resident’s restroom.
Interviews: The LPA conducted three (3) staff interviews. No immediate concerns voiced at this time.
Medications: At 2:30 p.m. a medications review was initiated for three out of six (6) clients and the following was observed. The medications were stored in a locked cabinet in the living room, which was locked and inaccessible to the clients. Medications are labeled and checked for expiration dates. Medications are properly documented on the centrally stored medications and destruction record.
Restroom : 4:37 p.m., water temperature in the outside restroom was measured at 88.2 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pursuant to Title 22 of the CA Code of Regulations, the following deficiencies were cited (refer to LIC 809-D): Exit interview conducted and copy of the report and appeal rights provided to Co-Administrator Joemar.
