Complaint Investigation Report
Interviews with staff stated that they conduct a walk through/rounds frequently to check on the safety of clients and to make sure nothing is going on that they should not be doing. Interviews revealed that the staff safeguard clients belongings by conducting rounds and making sure clients are not in other clients rooms, that clients are putting their items up and not leaving them out for others to take. Interviews revealed the clients at times have to be reminded not to touch things that are out especially if clients step away for a moment but for the most part are good about it.
The Department has investigated the above-mentioned allegations and based on interviews, LPA observations, and records review, it was determined that the complaint allegations are Unsubstantiated. The allegations may have happened or is valid, but there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
An exit interview was conducted with Nick Fierro and a copy of this report along with Licensee/Appeal Rights (LIC 9058 03/22) was provided at the conclusion of the visit.
