The inspector’s account

It was alleged that staff uses a loud and forceful tone with clients. Interviews revealed that S1 yells and swears around the clients and other staff members. Interviews also revealed that when S1 asks clients to complete tasks, they use a loud and forceful tone that could be interpreted as yelling. Interviews revealed that S1 is usually overly assertive with the clients. Interviews revealed that the write up also mentioned that S1 must refrain from using any abusive or disrespectful language towards clients.

Interviews revealed that S1 no longer works at the facility.

Based upon the foregoing, the above listed allegations are substantiated. This finding means that the preponderance of the evidence standard has not been met and the allegation is not valid. An exit interview was conducted with Nick Fierro, Administrator and a copy of this report and Licensee Rights (LIC9058 03/22) were provided at the conclusion of the visit.
