Complaint Investigation Report
It was alleged that facility staff did not return personal belongings to the resident's responsible party. On October 06, 2022 interviews revealed that when the client left the facility they did not take their belongings. Interviews revealed that while client was in the hospital, C1s responsible party went to the facility and picked up clients belongings and did not leave anything behind at the facility on November 22, 2022. Interviews revealed they did not have the responsible party sign off on belongings due to their behavior towards staff. Interviews revealed responsible party was supposed to pick C1 up from the hospital the same day. Interviews revealed that C1 had all of their items per outside witness.
Based on the evidence obtained from interviews, records review, the complaint allegations are unsubstantiated.
An exit interview was conducted with Fabian Gonzalez, Staff and a copy of this report along with Licensee/Appeal Rights (LIC 9058 03/22) was provided at the conclusion of the visit.
