The inspector’s account

On 07/16/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Aziz Faizi made an unannounced visit to the facility to conduct a required annual inspection. LPA was greeted and granted entry by Program Administrator Esli Medrano who was informed of the purpose of the visit.

The facility is a one story building with activity rooms, staff offices, bathrooms, and outdoor space. The program has a activity section with senior clients and adult developmental center. No pools or firearms are being kept at the facility.

The physical plant, including floors, windows, and doors, was clean and well maintained. Fixtures and furniture were in good repair. The facility does not provide meals services to clients. Snacks available to clients can be purchased.

LPA observed adequate hygiene supplies and cleaning materials stored in the janitor closet. The facility has an outdoor space being utilized for client activities and was free of hazards. Sharp and dangerous items in the kitchen were locked and stored inaccessible to clients.

Restrooms were clean and had toilet paper, paper towels, and soap readily available for clients. Both the smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector were operational, and the hot water temperature was 106.1°F.

LPA observed fire extinguishers throughout the facility to be in compliance with the department's requirements with the expiration date of 01-29-27.
