Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Javina George made an unannounced visit to the facility to conduct an annual inspection and health and safety check. LPA met with Licensee/Administrator, Manuel Vasquez and explained the purpose of the visit. The home is open, however there are currently no clients placed at the home. The home is licensed to serve 4 ambulatory clients age ranges 18-59.

The facility is a single story four (4) bedroom, two (2) bathroom home, with a sensory room, and backyard. Resident bedrooms are clean and appropriately furnished. All smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and found to be operable.

LPA observed a sufficient amount of personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies at the facility. Emergency food and water was stored in the garage area. Hot water was measured at 120 degrees Fahrenheit. LPA observed all toxic chemicals and other hazards secured and inaccessible to residents and are centrally stored in a locked cabinet in the garage. The facility currently has a supply of non pershable food items, as there are no clients in care. LPA reminded Licensee Vazquez to be prepared to have a 2 day supply of perishable food items.

There were no records reviewed as there are no clients at the home, staff scheduled to work at the home until there have been admissions. In addition there was no personal and incidental (P&I) funds or medications available too review, however the medications will be stored in a locked file cabinet located in the medication room. The facility is completing emergency drills on a quarterly basis and the last drill conducted on 5/1/24. There are no pools or bodies of water, or no known guns or ammunition on the premises.
