The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Javina George made an unannounced case management health checks visit. LPA was greeted and granted entry by caregiver Evelyn Dallo. LPA met with Administrator Emma Imson where LPA explained the purpose of the visit. At the time of LPAs visit there were (2) staff and (2) clients present. Client #1 (C1) is currently awol since 05/21/25. Client #2 (C2) was watching TV and Client #3 (C3) was taking care of their personal hygiene. LPA obtained updates from Administrator in regards to C1.

LPA conducted a tour of the interior and exterior was conducted, and was found clean and the passageways were free from any obstructions.

All staff present were observed to have obtained criminal record clearance and to be associated to the facility. The facility utilities such as gas, water and electric were observed to be operable, and the food supply was observed to be adequate, as there was a 2 day supply of perishable and a 7 day supply of non perishable food items. The facility was observed to have personal hygiene supplies, paper goods and emergency supplies available.

Client medications, chemicals and other hazardous items were observed to be locked and inaccessible to clients in care.

There were no health or safety concerned were observed during the time of the visit.

An exit interview was conducted where this report, LIC811-confidential names list, was reviewed and provided to Emma Imson, Administrator.
