The inspector’s account

Residents interviewed stated they enjoyed being at that the facility and liked what the program offered in terms of activities that ranged from arts & crafts, work opportunities, and being able to go in the community on day trips. Residents stated that they liked the manager and the owner; and residents expressed they liked the facility, and no one had been mistreated and that staff was nice to them.

Observations indicated satisfaction with services and did not support the allegation that facility staff did not treat a resident with dignity and respect. Due to a lack of evidence, the allegation is deemed to be unsubstantiated. A finding that is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.

An exit interview was conducted with the Manager Joseph Baker. A copy of this report and Licensee's Rights (LIC 9058 03/22) were provided to the Manager Joseph Baker and his signature on this report confirms receipt of the Licensee Rights.
