The inspector’s account

On 03/24/2026 at 09:30AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Renese Howell-Small conducted an unannounced inspection in order to increase the capacity per licensee request. LPA Howell-Small met with Administrator, Jessica Vega and toured the facility.

Licensee requested a capacity increase for one (1) ambulatory client, for a new total of three (3) clients. Fire Clearance is approved for three (3) ambulatory residents on 03/12/2026 by the Victorville Fire Department.

LPA toured the facility and observed the client bedroom to be in sufficient compliance to grant the capacity increase. The facility currently has five (5) bedroooms, three bathrooms, one kitchen, and one living room/dining room, backyard and a three car garage. LPA observed the bedroom to have the necessary equipment such as the required bed, mattress, linen, chair, lamp, dresser and storage, an operable smoke detector and has sufficient supplies for the proposed capacity increase.

Capacity increase for one (1) additional ambulatory client is approved. LPA will submit file for capacity increase approval. The final approval of capacity increase is contingent upon Licensing Program Manager (LPM's) final file review. Licensee will be notified once capacity increase has been approved, and a new license will be issued.

An exit interview was conducted with Administrator, Jessica Vega and a copy of this report LIC809 was provided.
