Complaint Investigation Report

Third party witness interviewed by LPA Prieto, stated that R1, heats the meals as soon as they arrive to the Day Program, that my cause contamination, but food is not being sent to the Day Program contaminated.

Regarding the allegation that staff are not meeting residents' dietary needs; LPA Prieto observed facility refrigerator and freezer and see that they have the appropriate amount of perishables and non-perishables. LPA also observed fresh fruit place on the kitchen counter as well.

Based on the information obtained there is not enough evidence that s taff do not serve residents foods free from contamination and staff are not meeting residents' dietary needs. Therefore, the allegations are deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED at this time. A copy of this report was signed by LPA Prieto and licensee Tita and a copy was left with the facility.
