The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Magda Malcore, Eldin Serrano, and Matthew Aguilar, conducted a required annual inspection of the facility. LPA met with Brittney Hernandez, Administrator, and discussed the purpose of the visit.

The facility is a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) with a license capacity of (4). The facility currently has no residents in care and the facility is currently being occupied by a private party. LPAs conducted an overall inspection of the facility, which included, but was not limited to, the following:

Indoor and outdoor passageways are free of obstruction. The facility has no swimming pools or similar bodies of water. The facility has sufficient indoor and outdoor space for resident activities. The facility has maintained at a temperature of 75 degrees fahrenheit (f). The facility is equipped with smoke/carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguisher, Community Care Licensing complaint poster, Ombudsman poster, Personal Rights, disaster evacuation plan. Bathroom equipment were operating in safe conditions. The hot water temperature in the bathroom measured at 110 degrees fahrenheit (F). The facility has a first aid kit, liability insurance, and emergency disaster plan for review. Overall the facility is maintained clean.

An exit interview was conducted were this report was discussed and a copy provided to Administrator Hernandez.
