Facility Evaluation Report

On 07/27/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pang Lee arrived at Fruitridge Home for the purpose of conducting a required 1-year annual inspection. LPA Lee met with House Manager Janine Sadaya and together conducted a tour of the home.

LPA Lee and House Manager Sadaya evaluated the physical plant to ensure the health and safety of the clients in care. Areas inspected are included but not limited to the kitchen, client bedrooms; client bathrooms, living and dining room, laundry room, staff office and outdoor areas. LPA Lee observed the facility to be free of odor, clean and in good repair. LPA Lee observed that all rooms are equipped with the required furniture and sufficient lighting throughout the facility. LPA Lee observed the facility has a has a public telephone in the kitchen and the facility has the required posters posted. Facility thermostat was observed at 73 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the required regulation of 68 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. LPA Lee observed toxins located in the kitchen sink and kept locked and inaccessible to client.

LPA Lee observed sharp knives locked in the kitchen cabinet and were inaccessible to clients. LPA Lee checked medication storage and found medication to be locked away and inaccessible to client. Hot water temperature was measured at 111.9 degrees Fahrenheit in client bathroom sink, which is within the required regulation of 105 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. LPA Lee observed sufficient seven-day non-perishable and two-day perishable food supplies. Fire extinguishers and smoke detectors are current and in compliance with fire safety. Fire extinguisher was last serviced on 04/28/2026. The last fire drill was conducted on 07/03/2026. First aid kit was checked and is complete.
