Staff left clients unsupervised in a running vehicle.- Unsubstantiated

In an interview with Program Manager, Ashley Thomas, it was revealed that in the past drivers have honked their horn to indicate that they are at the client’s place of residence. Drivers are no longer honking because the facility has received complaints about the honking. The protocol is for staff is to walk up to the door to ring the bell.

Based on this information, this allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED . Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated.

Exit interview conducted and a copy of the report and appeal rights were left at the facility.
