The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hiratsuka arrived unannounced at the facility to conduct a required annual inspection. LPA met with caregiver who then contacted Administrator who arrived to the facility shortly afterwards.

LPA and Caregiver conducted a tour of the exterior and interior of the facility. The facility added on another private resident room and now has a fire clearance for four non-ambulatory residents. Areas toured included but not limited to: four clients bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, backyard and the common areas. LPA observed sharps, toxins and medications to be locked and secured. LPA observed facility food menu to indicate at least three meals a day. LPA observed facility to have ample supply of clean linens. LPA observed facility to have operating fire alarm and carbon monoxide alarm. There is a ramp leading out of the facility from two resident rooms. There is a ramp on the side of the house. LPA observed facility to be clean, safe and in good repair.

File review was completed for three clients in care, LPA observed the required documents present and complete. LPA observed fire drill record to indicate monthly fire drills was conducted for the year of 2026.

Exit interview conducted and a copy of report was provided
