COMPLAINT CONTROL NUMBER: 59-AS-20250714125954
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michael Hood arrived at the facility and met with caregiver, Jan Cordray, to open a complaint into the allegation listed above. LPA spoke with Licensee/Administrator, Tisa Cadway, via telephone call, who gave permission to have Caregiver sign report. LPA conducted an inspection of the care home. LPA observed the interior of the home to be 70 degrees F. LPA observed termostat set to 70 degrees F. LPA observed temperature outside to be 84 degrees F. LPA observed cold air coming from vents in all rooms of the care home. LPA observed air conditioner to be operational in the facility. Licensee stated that air conditioner is serviced once every year and filter was replaced last month. Licensee agrees to ensure that all rooms are cooled in accordance with Title 22. Based on interviews conducted and observations, the preponderance of evidence standards have not been met. Therefore, the above allegation is found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding that a complaint allegation is unsubstantiated means that, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
