Complaint Investigation Report
Interviews conducted do not support that Care and Supervision as defined in CCR, Title 22 80001(c) (3) and Basic Services (b)(2) were not provided to R1 during their period of residence at the facility. R1 alleged that they not provided specific quality of therapeutic services which are not covered in regulation.
Interviews conducted did not support the allegation that R1 spoken to inappropriately by staff while in care. Statement by staff to R1 that staff are obligated to report residents’ leaving against medical advice to relevant parties was not found to constitute a threat to the resident by the facility.
As a result of this investigation, LPA finds allegation to be (US)Unsubstantiated - A finding that the complaint is Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
