Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Calzada arrived unannounced to conduct a required annual. LPA met with Lita Cailing, Co-Administrator, and explained purpose of inspection. (4) clients were present at the start of the inspection and (2) clients returned from attending day program later during the inspection. The facility is an Adult Residential Facility (level 3 home) that is vendorized through Alta California Regional Center. Co-Administrator, Adam Dickey, and Administrator, Maye Dickey, arrived around 2/2:15 pm.
LPA and Co-Administrator toured the interior/exterior of the facility including the common areas, (4) private client bedrooms, (1) shared client bedroom, (2) bathrooms, kitchen, (2) staff rooms, laundry area and outside patio. LPA observed the home to be clean, safe and in good repair and to not pose a health and safety risk or personal rights violation. Toxins and sharps in locked in the laundry area and medications are locked in a separate cabinet. There is sufficient 2+day perishable/7+day non-perishable food. Bathrooms have soap, paper towels, trash cans with lids and hand-washing posters. There are sufficient PPE supplies and linens/towels and (2) complete First Aid kits. Hot water temperature measured 103*F in the kitchen and 125*F in a resident bathroom- sign posted until the water temperature drops after the heater water was adjusted. Inside temperature measured 74*F. Fire extinguisher last serviced 7/17/25. Fire drills are conducted monthly and smoke/monoxide alarms working. Discussed leaving alarms on exit doors 24/7.
LPA reviewed (3) client files and (3) staff files. Files were found them to be current and organized.
Medications were reviewed for (1) client- orders match medications being administered and documentation is current. P&I funds were reviewed for (2)- no discrepancies noted. Staff training is current, including First Aid/CPR. Administrator certificate #7036197735 (exp 11/25/26). There were no deficiencies observed.
