Home Care Services Bureau (HCSB) Analyst, Adrian Mangina arrived at the business office of Homewatch Caregivers of Temecula on July 16, 2024 for a post licensing inspection. Upon arrival, Analyst Mangina was greeted by Designee Lucero Meza. The proper posting of business hours and license was observed. The proof of insurance record was reviewed. The Analyst was then shown to an area where the review of personnel and administrative files could be performed. Designee was advised that all employees must have fingerprint clearances and negative TB tests (initial and every 2 years) and all Home Care Aides must additionally have signed SOC341 in file and have completed initial training consisting of two (2) hours Orientation and three (3) hours safety training prior to working with clients, and annually complete five (5) hours additional training prior to start date anniversary each year, as well as be registered and renewed biennially on the Home Care Aide Registry. Upon completion of the file review the analyst discussed the findings of the inspection with the Designee Meza. The analyst informed the representative named above of the deficiency found and explained it would be noted on the HCS809-D form. In addition, the Designee was provided a copy of the HCS9058 Appeal Rights form.
