Facility Evaluation Report
On 03/17/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Janette Romero made an unannounced visit to the facility to conduct a required annual inspection. LPA was greeted and granted entry by Licensee Lidia Pina who was informed of the purpose of the visit. The facility has a fire clearance to serve two (2) ambulatory clients ages 18 through 59. Licensee reported they are a vendor of the Inland Regional Center and are awaiting client placement. Licensee's administrator certificate expires on 09/26/2026.
LPA toured the facility with licensee and observed the facility is made up of a one-story home with two (2) client bedrooms, one (1) client bathroom, a kitchen, staff office, living room, dining room and attached garage. The facility has operating utilities including gas, water and electricity. Indoor and outdoor passageways are free of obstruction. There are no bodies of water on the premises. The facility has a trailer in the backyard that licensee reported it will not be used by the clients. Client bedrooms have an adequate sized bed, furniture and lighting. The clients' bathroom has soap, toilet paper, and paper towels readily available along with a non-skid mat in the shower. The facility has more than a two-day supply of perishable foods and seven-day supply of non-perishable food items. Knives and sharp instruments are secured in a locked pantry cabinet. Medications will be centrally stored in a kitchen cabinet secured with a magnetic lock. Chemicals and disinfectants are secured in a locked cabinet inside the laundry room. LPA observed additional bedding, linens, and towels in different colors available for future clients. The smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors were tested and LPA heard them to be operational. LPA also observed charged fire extinguishers mounted in the facility that were last serviced on 10/07/2025. Facility sketch, clients' personal rights, emergency disaster plan, and complaint procedures are visibly posted in the facility. Licensee was reminded their annual licensing fees are due by 03/23/2026 and was provided their PIN number. Licensee reported the facility's licensing fees will be paid by 03/23/2026. Licensee was advised to notify Community Care Licensing as soon as they receive client placement. During today's visit, LPA did not issue any deficiencies. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was reviewed and provided to licensee.
