The inspector’s account

LPA accompanied by staff, toured the interior of the facility and observed all staff on duty on the premises. Review of CCLD’s Guardian and Licensing Information System (LIS) databases revealed that the staff present had a current criminal background clearance. Interviews with staff, clients, and outside sources did not reveal that there are adults without a criminal background clearance providing supervision nor residing on the premises.

Based on records review, interviews and observations, the investigation did not yield a preponderance of evidence to conclude that that uncleared adults are providing supervision and uncleared adults are residing in the facility. Based on the foregoing, the allegations are unsubstantiated. This finding means that although the allegations may have happened or may be valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred. An exit interview was conducted with Staff Muideen Salami, to whom a copy of this report and the Licensee/Appeal Rights (LIC9058 03/22) were provided.
