The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) B. Miranda conducted an unannounced visit today for the facility’s annual inspection. LPA introduced themselves and was allowed entrance into the facility. LPA met with Program Coordinator- Lisa Nodal.

Facility is licensed for 45 clients and has a current census of 32. Water temperature was checked in a common bathroom which read at 116.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Fire Extinguisher were serviced October 27, 2025 and is within the safety regulation period. Carbon monoxide detectors were tested and in working order. Smoke detectors are tested remotely on a weekly basis.

Staff files were reviewed, are complete, and current. Client files were reviewed, complete, and current. Facility provided a log for disaster drills that are conducted monthly. First aid kit on site and complete. Toxins and cleaning supplies are locked and inaccessible. Facility does not store or distribute medications at the facility.

LPA inspected the interior of the facility including the common areas, classrooms, and bathrooms. Clients bring their own food or order food.

There were no deficiencies observed or cited during today's inspection per California Code of Regulations, Title 22.

LPA's requested the following documents: LIC 500 Personnel Report, LIC 308 Designation of Administrative Responsibility, and LIC 610-E the Emergency Disaster Plan. to update the facility file. Listed documents shall be sent to Licensing April 10, 2026.
