The inspector’s account

On 7/21/2026 at 1:00 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Y.Brown conducted an unannounced annual required inspection. LPA met with Nancy Brum, Administrator and explained the purpose of the visit.

The facility’s fire clearance was approved for thirty (30) clients, twenty (20) may be ambulatory and ten (10) may be non-ambulatory. LPA toured the facility including but not limited to activity rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and common area. Facility does not have an outdoor activity space. Clients bring lunch from home and facility can provide lunches for clients if needed. Facility has sufficient snacks and food supplies for clients. All indoor passageways are kept free of obstruction. There are no bodies of water. A comfortable temperature for clients is maintained at 73 degrees Fahrenheit. LPA observed lighting in all rooms are adequate for the comfort and safety of the clients. Hot water temperature was measured at 115.5 degrees Fahrenheit.

All toilets, hand washing, and bathing are safe, sanitary and in operating condition. Smoke and carbon monoxide combination were observed during visit. Fire extinguisher last serviced on 03/17/2026. The Fire Drill was reviewed to be last conducted on 5/27/2026. LPA observed The Emergency Disaster Plan and it was last reviewed on 4/28/2026. The First aid kit was observed to be complete. Three (3) staff records were reviewed and four (4) client records reviewed and all are current.
