The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst K. Hiratsuka conducted this unannounced annual visit. LPA toured with Licensee Alma Amaya.

This facility has a fire clearance for four ambulatory and one non-ambulatory residents. There are three resident rooms: two shared and one private. There are two full bathrooms. There is a loft that also had a room in the main common area that is not accessible to residents. The kitchen and dining area are separate and the food supply meets regulations. There is a detached garage and another building on the property used for storage.

No residents were present during visit. They were attending day programs.

Two staff files and two resident files were reviewed.

LPA observed the licensee paying the annual fees on her cellphone.

At this time it appears that the facility is in substantial compliance with the regulations. Exit interview conducted.
