The house manager stated that they shop often (as shown by multiple grocery receipts) and purchase fruits and vegetables, depending on the preferences of the clients. In addition, all clients in the home were interviewed and stated that they had plenty to eat including fresh fruits and vegetables. Clients take their lunches to Day Program each day so staff and clients also make sure there is enough food for their daily lunches.
After completing multiple kitchen inspections, interviews with staff and clients and review of grocery receipts the allegation that Staff does not have the required amount of food to meet residents’ needs is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened there is not a preponderance of evidence therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
