Staff is taking pictures of residents without consent

On 3/21/22, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Yang arrived unannounced to conduct complaint investigation visit and deliver complaint finding on the above allegation. LPA introduced self, stated the purpose of the visit, and met with Administrator Martin Vale.

During the course of the investigation, the Department reviewed records and conduct interviews. Based in records reviewed and interviews conduct with staffs and residents, residents’ photos are taken by staffs with consent.

Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.

An exit interview was conducted. As a COVID-19 precautionary measure, a copy of this report will be provided via email. Report signed on-site.
