The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst, LPA, Noel Wolf Petersen arrived to the facility and met with the senior most staff Arelli Gonzalez to explain the purpose of the visit: to conduct an annual inspection. LPA arrived to the facility and noted that it is empty, it was explained by the staff that the clients are on a field trip today.

The LPA met with the executive director by phone, resolved there was not enough time to complete the non physical inspection bits of the annual inspection. Physically the main common area, front entryway, and client bathroom facility is observed to be clean, and the traffic areas are unobstructed and well lit.

The LPA asked to be sent a copy of an updated LIC 500 staff roster and LIC 9020, client roster to noel.wolfpetersen@dss.ca.gov.

No citations issued at this time, a future annual continuation visit is necessisary to review the continued physical inspection for the first aid kit, fire extinguishers, water temp, Staff files, client files, and administrator files, staff interviews and client interviews.

A copy of the report was read and left with the staff, an exit interview was conducted.
