The inspector’s account

On 10/22/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Renee Campbell arrived unannounced to conduct an annual inspection. LPA Campbell met with Stephanie Romero, Administrative Assistant and explained the purpose of the visit.

During the visit, LPA Campbell toured the facility with the Jessica Hogan, Program Director and inspected classrooms, the medication closet, the kitchen, bathroom and meeting rooms. Furniture and furnishings were sufficient to meet the needs of clients. LPA Campbell observed chairs on top of the tables in preparation for cleaning at the end of the day by maintenance staff. The facility temperature was 74 degrees Fahrenheit (F), which is within the required range of 68 to 85 degrees.

LPA Renee Campbell reviewed seven client files and two staff files. All staff were fingerprint cleared, and associated to the community and have current first aid certificates. LPA Renee Campbell observed first aid supplies that included tweezers, scissors, thermometers and a first aid manual. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors were tested and found to be functioning. The water temperature in the client bathrooms was measured and found to be 111 degress F, which is within the required range of 105 and 120 degrees F.
