Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jason Lund arrived unannounced to conduct a one year required inspection. LPA Lund met with Administrator Ramandeep Kaur and explained the purpose of the visit. The facility is licensed to serve up to 4 ambulatory residents, from Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC). Census: 3
LPA Lund and Administrator Ramandeep Kaur toured/inspected the facility and inspected common areas, the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and backyard areas to ensure there are no safety hazards for residents. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms were tested and in compliance. Furniture and furnishings were sufficient to meet the needs of residents and included a bed, chair, night table and lamp. The facility temperature was 72 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the required range of 68 and 85 degrees. The backyard was inspected and pathways and exits were found to be clear. Window screens were intact and the fire exit was clear of debris. In the backyard, is a storage shed that was locked. One fire extinguisher inspection date of 7/3/2025, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors were located throughout the facility and were observed to be functional and in compliance at this time. LPA Lund inspected first aid supplies and was in compliance. LPA Lund observed 2-day supply of perishable food and 7-day supply of nonperishable food. LPA Lund observed locked cabinets for medication and knives in the kitchen. LPA Lund observed locked storage areas for toxins in the living room closet. LPA Lund reviewed two clients files and three staff files and were in compliance.
No deficiencies were cited during today’s visit. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided.
