Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jason Lund arrived unannounced to conduct an one year annual inspection. LPA Lund met with Administrator Ariel Thomas and explained the purpose of the visit.
LPA Lund & Heather McClosky, Administrator toured/inspected the facility the common areas, the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and backyard areas to ensure there are no safety hazards for residents. Wheelchair ramps were observed at the front and back entrances. Furniture and furnishings were sufficient to meet the needs of residents. The facility temperature was 76 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the required range of 68 and 85 degrees. The facility's water temperature measured 110 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the required range of 105 and 120 degrees. The backyard was inspected by LPA Lund and pathways and exits were found to be clear. LPA Lund inspected the first aid supplies, a fully charged and up-to-date fire extinguisher, and working carbon monoxide/smoke detectors. LPA Lund inspected 2-day supply of perishable food and a 7-day supply of nonperishable food. LPA Lund inspected locked closets and cabinets for the storage of medication. LPA Lund inspected locked storage areas for the storage of cleaning solutions and knives as well. LPA Lund reviewed three residents and three staff files and were in compliance.
Per California Code of Regulations (CCR's) - Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8, no deficiencies are being cited. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was left.
