The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Alviso is conducting an Required-1 Year inspection, on 8/5/2025 at approximately 2:40pm, and met with Administrator Joyce Kamau. LPA observed another staff (S2), Mariela, working during the inspection.

Currently four (4) clients in care. Facility has an approved fire clearance four (6) ambulatory clients. All client rooms are private. The facility will only accept four (4) clients into care, per Licensee/Administrator. The facility has operated with four (4) clients in care for the last several years.

LPA reviewed four (4) resident files. All resident files were complete.

LPA reviewed two (2) staff files. All staff had required criminal record clearance. All staff have first aid and CPR certification. LPA reviewed staff's annual training.

All medications were locked and inaccessible to residents in care. All cleaners/disinfectants were locked and inaccessible to residents in care. Hot water was measured at 120.degrees Fahrenheit. Administrator Joyce will ensure hot water stays between 105. degrees to 120. degrees, Fahrenheit.

Food supply was sufficient. Sufficient lighting throughout the facility for residents' use. Facility was clean and orderly during the inspection. All exits were free and clear of obstruction. Facility was observed to be at a comfortable temperature.
