Complaint Investigation Report
Per interviews conducted with staff and residents it was disclosed that staff usually does laundry once per week. Residents have been reminded to smoke only in designated areas and the facility will re assign a different area for them to smoke their cigarettes to mitigate the impact of smoke coming into the building from the outside. A finding that the complaint allegation of residents is smoking in the facility is unsubstantiated meaning that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
