The inspector’s account

11/13/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loera conducted an unannounced Annual Required – 1 yr. inspection visit for this facility. Facility is an adult day care program. LPA met with ICF Director, Terri Rowland.

LPA and Director toured the building and grounds. The facility was found to be at a comfortable temperature. Today there are 47 clients in attendance with 24 staff providing supervision. Client to staff ratio are typically 1:2.

LPA observed clients participating in activities during the tour. Facility has 4 activity rooms available to clients such as puzzles, games, art supplies, and various other activities. Water temperature in sinks accessible to clients were measured and found to be within the range of 105 to 120 degrees F. Bathrooms were equipped with appropriate hygiene products and continence care products for client use. Fire extinguishers were last inspected November 2024. Facility conducts fire drills twice a year with the last one being conducted 10/15/2025. Smoke detectors are hard wired and are tested by Vallejo Fire Department, last inspection was completed on 01/17/2025. Sharps and toxins were found to be inaccessible during time of visit. Participants bring their own lunch to day program. Medication is stored in a locked cabinet located in the kitchen in the medication cart.

Facility conducts training every month and keeps record in a training log. Last training was conducted 10/31/2025.
