This is an official report of an unannounced visit/investigation of a complaint received in our office on

04/19/2024 and conducted by Evaluator David Leibert

COMPLAINT CONTROL NUMBER: 21-AS-20240419091453

Staff not providing adequate food service for residents.

Licensing Program Analyst Leibert arrived unannounced for the purpose of delivering findings on this complaint. It has been alleged that facility has not provided enough appropriate food for the clients in care and that Administration is not responsive to the dietary needs of the clients. This investigation has included four site visits and food inspections as well as statements taken from staff who prepare and serve food. The following determinations are made: There are differing opinions regarding the quality of food service amongst the staff; Unannounced site inspections made by this Department verifies that sufficient fresh and non perishable food was observed to be in adequate supply and in compliance with Title Twenty-Two regulations. Although the allegation may be true, based on the observations and statements, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove or, disprove, the allegation. Therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
