The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Contreras arrived unannounced to conduct an inspection in regards to the voluntary closure of this facility. LPA met with Brenda Dringas and spoke with Licensee Bella Corpuz by the telephone. Licensee informed LPA that the facility had closed on December 31, 2024. Licensee had notified Department of Developmental Services, but failed to notify Community Care Licensing. LPA toured the facility and observed no signs of clients residing at the facility. Although there is still furniture in the house, all resident items are found to be removed and closets and dressers have been emptied. One room is being occupied by new guest that is not a client and moved in March 2025. All client medications have been removed. All clients have been relocated to their new residences without incident.

LPA informed licensee to submit letter to CCL informing closure date.

LPA collected License from wall and will process facility closure once back to regional office.
