Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Contreras arrived unannounced to conduct a required annual inspection and was greeted by staff Laurdes Lapuz . A dministrator (admin) Rose Marie Devera arrived after. Facility is an Adult Residential Facility with a fire clearance approved for capacity of four clients. There are currently four clients in care. Two were attending program during visit.
LPA toured the building and grounds which was found to be clean and in good repair. LPA observed all walkways and exits to be unobstructed inside facility. All required postings were in a highly visible area. . All bedrooms found to have required furnishings. Two window screenings appeared to not be in good repair (Technical Violation given). Water temperatures in client accessible bathrooms read within the allowable range of 105 to 120 degrees F per Title 22 Regulations. Bathroom downstairs observed to have communal towel (Technical Violation given).
LPA observed a supply of clean linens, hygiene, and paper products available for clients. Facility had at least a 2-day supply of perishable and 7- day supply of non-perishable food and water as required by Tittle 22 Regulations with snacks accessible to clients . Facility kitchen, refrigerators and freezers were clean. Toxins are stored in a locked and inaccessible to clients. Emergency food and water observed. Fire extinguishers were charged and last inspected up to date. Carbon and fire alarms were tested and operational. Disaster Drills are recorded and conducted quarterly . First aid kits observed.
