The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Contreras arrived unannounced to conduct a required annual visit and was greeted by Program Manager Orland Ordanez. Program Director Cynthia Dinglasan arrived shortly after. Facility is a Day Program with an approved capacity of 45 participants. There are currently 38 participants in attendance during today's visit.

LPA and Admin toured the building and grounds. The facility was found to be clean and at a comfortable temperature. Program does not provide lunch but provides snacks for participants upon request. Clients were observed to be engaged in various group activities. LPA observed a meditation room with lights and sensory sounds to help clients with behaviors. Toxins, cleaning supplies and other potentially dangerous items were observed stored in a designated cleaning supply closets inaccessible to clients. Extra supply of linens and hygiene items observed. All cabinets and drawers had a magnetic lock inaccessible to clients.

Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were last inspected in 3/24/2026. Emergency disaster drills are conducted on a quarterly basis and documented. Water measured at 105 degrees F which is within the allowable range of 105 to 120 degrees F. 4 out of 4 fire extinguishers within the facility were found to be last charged 1/20/2026. LPA' conducted an inspection of 6 out of 6 facility vans and found all vans to be properly equipped with fire extinguisher and 1st aid kits.
