The inspector’s account

At approximately 12:30 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stevenson arrived unannounced to conduct a required annual inspection for this facility and met with Gilda James, Work Inclusion Case Manager. At approximately 1:00 PM Dannell Merritt - WFI Manager arrived to further assist with today's required inspection. The facility currently provides care for 29 clients, 20 of which were in attendance during time of visit.

LPA conducted a tour of the facility with Work Inclusion Manager; facility was found to be clean and at a comfortable temperature with all exits free from obstruction. Fire extinguishers were found to be charged and last inspected 01/2026. Facility has fire pull system alarm and was last inspected by the Fire Department 02/24/2026. Facilities last emergency disaster drill was conducted on 04/24/2026. Facility has four company vans. Chemicals are stored in a designated cleaning supply closet inaccessible to clients.

Facility has a two first aid kits and emergency supplies. LPA observed clients in the behavioral support program engaging in activities, while other clients were on outings in the company vans. Clients have the option to pick and choose what they prefer for activities to participate in. LPA was informed clients bring their own lunches to program. Clients take part in various activities like trivia, money management, social skills, anger management, bingo, personal hygiene, puzzles, karaoke, would you rather?, crafts, and community outings etc.
