The inspector’s account

LPA investigated the allegation, “Facility in disrepair.” Based on interviews and observations, the facility did not appear to be in disrepair. During the investigation process, it was reported that the AC unit was broken and leaking. LPA observed six of six air conditioning vents in the living room and dinning room and did not observe any water leaks. Interviews stated the repair company fixed a lose wire in the AC unit and fixed the leak around a vent near the front door. LPA could not corroborate the allegation.

Based on interviews conducted and observations, the preponderance of evidence standards have not been met. Therefore, the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. Findings that the complaint is Unsubstantiated means that, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.

An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of the report was provided.
