Facility Evaluation Report

On September 5, 2024 at approximately 12:15 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Farhaan Sarangi arrived unannounced at Artistic Endeavors Day Program for the purpose of conducting a Required 1 year inspection. LPA was greeted at the door by Program Director, Sherry Baldwin and was granted access into the facility

LPA and the Program Director toured the facility. LPA observed the facility to be clean and at a comfortable temperature with all exits free from obstruction. LPA observed a main area where clients do activities, an art room area, isolation room, locked toxins room where toxins are stored and isolation room. Clients were observed watching a movie. Lockers are kept for clients to keep there valuables which was observed during the inspection. Fire Extinguisher was found to be last charged on November 2023 at the time of the inspection. All smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors sound directly to the local fire jurisdiction. The Local Fire Jurisdiction tested the Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors on March 2024 which passed the inspection. Water temperature was tested and found to be at 107 degrees within an acceptable range of 105 to 120 degrees. Clients bring their own lunches. Facility has snacks available for clients in care. Cleaning products and other toxins are locked and inaccessible to clients in care. There was a supply of cleaners, hygiene products and paper products available for clients and/or staff. All bathrooms designated for clients in the common areas at the facility were supplied with individual paper towels and hand soap. LPA advised facility to contact County Public Health and Community Care Licensing immediately if symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious diseases are present in the facility. LPA reviewed the Emergency Disaster Plan and the Infection Control Plan and found those documents to be appropriate during the inspection. Emergency Disaster Drill was conducted in June 2024. First Aid Kit was inspected and found to be appropriate during the inspection.
