The inspector’s account

On 04/28/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Marisa Chiarelli arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct a 1-Year Required Annual Inspection. LPA met with Facility Administrator, Grace Puckett and was granted access to the facility.

LPA and Administrator toured the facility together to ensure health and safety of residents in care. Areas toured include but are not limited to: common areas, (4) four resident bedrooms, garage, backyard, storage areas, and (2) two common restrooms. LPA observed the facility to be clean, in good repair, and odor-free. In the areas toured no immediate health, safety, or personal rights violations were observed.

LPA observed all bedrooms to have the required furnishings, lights, and windows with screens. LPA observed the first aid kit to be completed and ready for use. Water temperature was measured at 118 F . Facility has a 2-day perishable and a 7-day non-perishable amount of food. The kitchen was clean and organized. LPA observed medications, chemical toxins, and knives to be locked and inaccessible to residents. LPA observed fire extinguishers to be fully charged. Facility is conducting fire drills and disaster drills per regulation requirements.

LPA reviewed a total of four (4) residents' files and three (3) staff files which contained all of the required documentation.

The facility is in compliance and no deficiencies are being cited as a result of today’s inspection. Exit interview conducted and copy of the report was provided to Administrator.
