The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) David Marrufo conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year visit and met with Administrator Marie Kathleen Alcala.

During visit, LPA toured the facility inside and out. LPA toured rear, front, and upper level buildings of the facility. LPA toured each resident bedroom and observed them to have working lights and available bedding and clothing storage areas. LPA tested the smoke detectors in the front and upper level buildings. Each smoke detector functioned properly when tested. LPA obtained a copy of the smoke detection inspection report, which stated the smoke detection system in the rear building was last tested on 09/25/2025. The emergency disaster drill log indicates the last drill was conducted on 11/24/2025.

LPA toured the garage area and the kitchen areas. LPA observed there to be a perishable food supply of at least two days and a non-perishable food supply of at least seven days.

LPA toured the outside area and found the outdoor exits to be clear of obstructions.

During visit, LPA Marrufo reviewed 6 staff records and found them to be complete.

Due to time constraints, this annual inspection will need to be completed at a later time.

No deficiencies were cited at this time as per California Code of Regulations Title 22.

This report was reviewed with Administrator Marie Kathleen Alcala and a copy of this report was provided.
