The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) David Marrufo conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year inspection and met with Tina Thornbrugh.

During visit, LPA Marrufo toured the facility inside and out. LPA toured the kitchen area and observed there to be a perishable food supply of at least two days and a non-perishable food supply of at least seven days.

LPA toured three out of three resident bedrooms. Each bedroom had working lights and available bedding and clothing storage areas. LPA tested the smoke detectors in the hallways and three out of three resident rooms. Each smoke detector functioned properly when tested.

LPA toured one out of one facility bathroom. The bathroom sink had water temperature at 107 F. The bathroom had working lights and available soap and paper towels.

LPA toured the exterior of the facility and observed the outdoor exits were free of obstructions.

LPA reviewed six out of six resident records and three staff records and found them to be complete. LPA reviewed six out of six Centrally Stored Medication and Destruction Records and five out of five Personal and Incidental Money Logs and found them to be complete and balanced.

No deficiencies were cited at this time as per California Code of Regulations Title 22. This report was reviewed with Isabel Gonzalez and a copy of this report was provided.
