The inspector’s account

On 3/4/2026, Licensing Program Analyst(LPA) John Calandra arrived at the facility to conduct a Proof of Correction(POC) visit regarding the citation issued on the same day. LPA Calandra was greeted by Lorraine Baca, Co-Administrator and explained the purpose of the visit.

On 3/4/2026, the Department issued a citation for a violation of California Code of Regulations(CCR) 80087(a)(1) Buildings and Grounds. The citation was issued for not ensuring the facility kept free of bed bugs. This citation is connected to complaint #26-AS-20251027233036.

No deficiencies cited during this POC visit.

An exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report and the POC clearance letter were provided to the Licensee.
