Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst Manuel Monter conducted an unannounced case management- other regarding the facility’s bedridden increase request. LPA met with Administrator Joseph Anthony Oliva and explained the purpose of the meeting.
On December 29, 2025, the Department received a hospice increase request from 3 to 4 hospice residents.
On January 5, 2026, ADM requested an increase to his bedridden capacity .
On January 18, 2026 ADM stated he was no longer interested in adding additional bedridden. ADM stated the fire Marshall informed him, there would need to be a sprinkler system needed and fire doors. ADM stated its beyond his budget to make those changes.
During todays visit, LPA discussed with ADM the number of bedridden residents and residents under hospice. ADM stated he currently has 2 residents under hospice, who are able to reposition. ADM stated going froward he will ensure when he accepts residents into the facility, to keep in mind his 1 bedridden fire clearance. LPA requested a copy of the resident roster.
ADM agreed and understood that he must be complaint with his fire clearance and must only retain 1 bedridden resident at a time.
No deficiency was cited during todays visit. This report was reviewed with Administrator Joseph Anthony Oliva. A copy of this report was provided.
