The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Marcela Yanez conducted an unannounced 1 year required visit. LPA announced the purpose of the visit and met with Vanessa Carranza, Administrator.

During visit LPA toured the facility inside and outside and observed Kitchen with locked cabinets for cleaning supplies and sharp object. LPA observed the facility to have perishable food supply for 2 days and non-perishable food supply for 7 days. Refrigerator temperature measured with thermometer displayed 38 degrees F and freezer temperature displayed 0 degrees F.

LPA toured three resident bedrooms. Each bedroom had available bedding and clothing storage areas as well as functioning lights. Staff tested the smoke detector in the hallway and found the smoke detector to function properly when tested. LPA toured resident bathroom.The bathroom had available soap and paper towels and functioning lights. The water temperatures in the bathroom sink measured with thermometer at 114.4 degrees F.

LPA toured the outside area and found the exits to be clear of obstructions. LPA observed fire extinguisher was last serviced on 07/31/25. LPA reviewed Fire and Earthquake log. The last disaster drill was conducted on 06/04/26.

LPA reviewed resident records 3 residents and Centrally Stored Medication record. LPA reviewed 2 staff records. No P&I was reviewed resident controls own money.

No deficiency were cited as per California Code of Regulations Title 22. This report was reviewed with ADM and a copy of this report was provided.
