Facility Evaluation Report
At 12:30pm on 02/17/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeffries arrived to the facility unannounced to conduct the facility annual inspection. LPA met with Director of Personal Care, Lori Kelley (DPC), announced who he is and the reason for the visit. Facility Administrator was contacted by phone and directed LPA to DPC to assist with annual inspection.
This Adult Day Program is located in a Continuing Care Retirement Community, Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (CCRC), in their Memory Care Unit building. there is a large community room, a separate area for clients to recline away from large community room, an outdoor patio area with shade, a community bathroom, medication room, office and a nurses station in the day program area. LPA noted that the CCRC provides lunch and food for the day program that is carted and staged in a kitchen room. LPA noted that at this time all clients in the day program are part of the CCRC and no outside clients attend program at the time of the annual facility inspection. LPA noted that all medications are stored and locked in the medication room. There is a complete First Aide kit also located in the medication room. LPA tested the water temperature in the community bathroom to be within regulation requirements of 105*-120*(f). LPA identified two fire extinguishers both primed and in the green indicating working. LPA observed facility annual fire inspection conducted by Rincon Inspection, dated 10/08/2025,.showing "pass" for fire control system. LPA noted that the Santa Barbara County Fire Department annual inspection was scheduled for 02/24/2026. LPA noted that the facility was clean and in good repair, with all pathways and door ways free of obstacles. LPA conducted l file review of a sample of staff and client files, Emergency Disaster Plan, and Infection Control Plan. DPC and LPA conducted a full review of annual control tools and found no violations or citations. LPA noted that the full annual facility inspection did not reveal any violations or citations at this time.
