Facility Evaluation Report

This visit report has been recreated to align with the correct facility as it was originally incorrectly posted under Hobson Sonshine Home, facility #405802283.

At 3:22pm, on 12/9/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Haner-Tomasko arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct a Case Management visit along with the facilities assigned Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) from Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC). LPA met with lead staff Holly Hobson announced who he was and the reason for the visit.

This facility is in the process of closing. During today's visit, LPA toured the facility and interviewed the lead staff. Today’s visit is to check on the health and safety of Client #1 (C1) who still resides at the facility and is scheduled to move to another facility later this week. Holly Hobson states she has the ability to care for C1 until they move out of the facility. C1 is non-verbal so LPA and TCRC QAS were unable to interview C1. C1's belongings have partially been packed in preparation for the move and they still have access to the belongings they need until then. LPA discussed with Holly the requirement to continue to follow regulation and care for C1 until they move out of the facility.
